Our Team
Jim Miller, Owner
Jim Miller is the owner of Robin Machine Inc. (RMI). In 2000, Jim acquired the company from his father, Bob Miller, who founded RMI in 1977 with the vision of providing low-cost, short-run parts to customers across various industries.
Under Jim’s leadership, RMI has continued its commitment to quality and world-class service. The company has maintained a strong focus on employee safety and satisfaction, fostering a culture that enhances customer service and quality delivery.
Jim’s dedication to the machining industry and his role in sustaining RMI’s legacy highlight his significant contributions to the field.
Andrew Miller, Shop Foreman + Lead CNC Machinist
Andrew Miller serves as the Shop Foreman and Lead CNC Mill Machinist and CNC Mill Programmer. With a background in CNC machining, Andrew has developed expertise in overseeing machining operations, ensuring quality control, and leading a team of machinists. His role involves troubleshooting complex machining issues and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Andrew is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Duluth where he studied communication and information design. Making him a communicator by education and a machinist by trade—a unique combination that fuels his ability to lead with clarity, precision, and purpose.
